HITH supports children to receive acute hospital-level care in their own home.  Patients may need IV antibiotics, wound care, post-operative surveillance, cardiac or respiratory assessments, eczema care, rehydration, diabetes education, or multidisciplinary feeding support - a wide range of conditions will be seen and managed in these roles.

The Fellow roles require seniority, clinical maturity, and a high level of management skills.  The fellows work closely with medical, nursing, and allied health team members.

The HITH Fellow positions are accredited for 6 months of core General Paediatrics training time and are also accredited for non-core time.

In 2025 we are trialling 1 week (in 6 months) as the Night Medical Lead; this is negotiable - see position description and state your availability to do this.
